Page 100 Project: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

Jason Turner had a great idea, and has summoned up the Page 100 Project. You take a novel you like (actually, make that “book”) and illustrate the 100th page. I’ve been reading a bunch of Hunter S Thompson lately, so I stole Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas from someone’s shelf and this is what happened. You’ll notice the, um, subtle influence of Ralph Steadman on my style.

It’s also the first time I’ve used my expensive new paintbrush to draw. This was done on a couple of sheets of A4 and should have been much larger – too fiddly to get have proper freedom of motion.
