If you’re angry

I’ve had the weekend recuperating in the countryside. Last week’s protests were fairly brutal and this post (set in Cambridge the week before) has had to wait until I was able to speak lightly of these things again.

People were penned up for six(?) hours, against their will, and naturally got upset and tried to get out. Things were broken – windows by the protesters, and protesters by the police – and I got a couple of blows to the head from police batons too (despite acting as a legal observer).

My head stopped spinning Sunday. Hopefully sometime I’ll make sense of this on paper – there’s a lot to be said.
